The Imperial Ottoman Government havo ordered a second battleship from Messrs. Vickers, Ltd., at. Barrow, who ar^ now busy completing for the Turkish Navy the Reshadieh, which will be sent away for her trials early this summer. The new battleship, however, will be considerably larger and have more power than the Ilcshadieh, which is 526 fret long. 91 ieofc beam, carries ten 13.5 guns, besides smaller weapons, , and has a displacement of 23,000 tons, land a shaft horse-power of 31,000. with a speed of '21 knots.
