PERMANENT PICTURES
"House full," was the sign exhibited at the Theatre Royal last evening, when "A Messagel From Mars" was presented for the first time in Nelson. The film "depicted the incidents of the drama in an admirable .manner, and met with the' fullest appreciation. The '. supporting items to the principal picture were heartily applauded. Among ! them may be „ specially mentioned a Keystone comedy, "When Dreams Come True." This number is really clever, and kept the audience in fits of laughter from start to finish. "When i the Monsoon Blows'.' is a brilliant |Pa the scenic film. The Vitagraph drama, "The Flirt," was enthusiastically received. The box plan bids failto be well booked again, and those who wish to see this excellent programme will be well advised to secure their seats early. , COUNTRY TOUR. Richmond will be visited as usual tonight, when an attractive series will be screened, the star items being "The i White Vaquero," and '^Widow Malonjey's Faith."* On Saturday a special visit will be- made to Motueka, when a' complete change will be: presented, headed by "A Message From Mars.'!.
