WINTRY WEATHER.
HEAVY FALL OF SNOW.
Tho cold, showery weather of Monday culminated in a heavy fall of snow, which covered tho mountain ranges in the distance, and descended on the, low hills surrounding tho city. Jho Fringe hill and tho Maungatapu presented a fino sight with their mantles of snow glistening in the nuirninp sun yesterda Klovon inches of snow fell at Tophouse, and at Blue Glen and Tapawera the ground was covered.
