The inhabitants of Bugsworth ; aj little village in the Peak distri?t of Derbyshire, are taking a vote on the j burning question of a change of name j (says the "Daily Mail")- Mr. G. D. Goddard, a former parish councillor and one of the oldest residents, has suggested that the name be changed to Buxworth, on the ground that, like Buxton, it was once a great hunting centre, and took its name from the buck, which used vo be found in. great numbers there. Several Manchester people who settled in the district gave it the name of Limedale, but it is never used now.
