MOURNING IN LONDON.
COMPANY'S OFFICES AGAIN
BESIEGED
SALVATION ARMY PROCESSION
(Received June 1, 7.40 p.m.) London, June 1. The Canadian-Pacific Railway Company's offices in London were again besieged all day long by crowds of sorrowful inquirers, and every new list of names posted at the entrance was eagerly scanned. During the afternoon the celebrated Silver Band belonging to the Regent Hall branch of the Salvation Army marched past playing the hymn "Eternal Father Strong to Save." The band was accompanied by the New Zealand contingent attending the London Conference. The com-' pany's officials stood in the doorway with bowed heads. Subsequently the Salvationists held a memorial meeting in the vicinity, the New Zealand visitors addressing the mourners. k The Lord Mayor has opened a Mansion House Fund for the victims' dependents, and has invited mayors throughout the United Kingdom to open funds.
