TRIBUTES AT AUCKLAND.

Auckland, June 1

At the Supreme Court to-day reference to the late Mr. W. R. Bloomfield was made by Bench and Bar. Mr. Justice Cooper said Mr. Bloomfield was a very old friend of his. Mr. Bloomfield had earned the respect and affection of all with whom he came in contact, and he had the affection and goodwill of all members of the community. He had taken his share of public work, and was an experienced,, useful, and leading officer of the Territorial forces.
