SHALE CUTTING ON FIRE.
TRAINS HELD UP.
Sydney, June 1
Trains are delayed near Mudgee through a cutting catching fire. The cutting is through shale. As a result of the fire the shale is exuding great quantities of flowing oil, which is ablaze along the creek.
