PARADE AT LONDONDERRY.

A procession a mile long, including a band of trained nurses in Red Cross uniform, accompanied the National Volunteers at Londonderry to Celtic Park, where a series of evolutions was performed with great alertness and precision. Several speeches were delivered. According to the Dublin "Sunday Independent," the National Volunteers in Ulster total 41,000; in Leinster 42,000; in Munster, 27,000 ; and in Connaught, 18,500. The enrolment is progressing at the rate of 5,000 a week. Two companies have been formed at Achill Island, Mayo, where the whole of the drill commands are carried out in Gaelic. Mr. T. P. O'Connor, M.P., states that the incidents at the Curragh gave the first impulse to the present National Volunteer movement.
