The Dominion Meteorologist's summary and forecast, as from 5 p.m. today, are as follows: — ~,'■, The westerly disturbance, which has dominated the weather conditions durinc* the past three days, intensified considerably on Sunday, and high westerly'winds prevailed, with squalls and showery weather. Present indications are for very boisterous weather, with heavy showers generally and snow on the higher levels in the south; westerly winds, strong to a gale, and changing to south-westerly in about twenty 'hours The weather is becoming much colder and the barometer is rising fast.
