There was a ropresentative gathering of buyers, and good competition resulted, there being a good demand throughout. Continental Buyers took practically all seedy wool, while lotfal mills competed well for all descriptions of piece* and locks, lorkghire buyers secured the .best of the crossbreds, and the opinion was expressed that several buyers must have had American orders, as IOJd wa3 realised for six bales of very nice crossbred wool. Merinos wero inclined to bo a -Jittle ©lacker, but were.in good demand, iiost prices were: Half-bred -to 12fa, fine crossbred to ltjd, jto 10^d, super -crossbred to 12£ d, iambs' wool to 11-Jd, > three-quarter bred to Aid, Merino to lid, Merino super to 13d, first pieces to 9sd, locks t»> 6£d.
