The. following list contains the names of Nelson candidates who passed the Public Service Senior examination, held in January: James Black, Vernon Bosselman, Charles Clark. Russell Knapp, Ernest Knight. Ursula Lewis, Campbell Mead, Henrietta Robertson, Myra Roughton, George Steward. In addition to the names of *those who passed in all subjects a t the recent civil service examinations (already published), the following Nelson students obtained partial passes: Five or more subiects: Gilbert George Bartlett, Robert Hogan Bell, Bernard W\ Lane. Simon Mackechnie, Gertrude Maud Mayo, John Allen Shannon. Three subjects: Donald Williamson Smith. Ashton lauchelle Whiting. Two subjects: Arthur Wallace Bell, Lawrence Campbell Dron, Franvis Reuben Price.

Gibbri (Nelson). Florence E. Kershaw- (Nelson). Ellen M. o'Lear.y (Greyfnouth), N. H. Tnnnicjffe (Xel.son); Edith M. Woods (Nelson).

Miss Do-is Hunt, of the Girls' College, has received -word" that she has passed the first section of-the B.A. do--TOO-. - ° Miss Winifred Betts has i-eceived advice that she has passed the first section bf-tho. B.Sc. degree. Mr. Ralph .Worley, son of Mr. W. F. Worley, of Nelson, has' received intimation by cable that he has passed the examination for the degree of Master of Science. Mr. Worley is at present practising as a surveyor in the Bay of Islands district. Intimation has been received at the Boy.-s' College that .University entrance scholarships have heen awarded, to V. Bosselmarm and h. Bennett, in addition to N. Riohmowl, whose name appeared in the list already published. E.L. Morley has passed the first.section of the examination for the LL.B. degree.
