PENNANT AND LEAPER SHIELD

The fifth match of the season took place' on Saturday -afternoon for the above inter-club competitions. For the fourth month in succession Maitai proved much too good for Nelson, and in pennant matches appear more than a match for their opponents. Both sides won in three rinks, but as in the previous month heavy defeats in two rinks brought about Nelson's downfall.
