The American barque At'onlaw reports that when oil Piteairn Island two boats containing 34 islanders came on 'board, and reported that they were short of bread and other commodities.

They obtained a supply, and also clothing, in exchange for poultry, vegetables, and fruit. The islanders reported all well at Pitcaivn.

A'gale destroyed the plantations some time ago, but they are .tow recovering from the effects.
