REPRESENTATIONS TO NEW ZEALAND.

Representations are to be made to Mr. Massey, Premier of New Zealand, by the Presbyterian Missions Board oi1 Australia asking the Dominion to us© its influence in supporting the protest to Mr. Hr, reourt regarding the New Hebrides. x

Referring to the cabled suggestion that Australia should acquire the French rights in the New Hebrides by purchase, the Hon. P. M. Glynn, Minister of External Affairs, said that tho Commonwealth was prepared to meet) any opportunity of settling the question on lines honourable to the two nations concerned, whether it involved pecuniary or other methods of adjustment.
