NEW ZEALAND INSULARITY.

ALLEGED PREJUDICE AGAINST AUSTRALIANS.

Sydney, March 5.

Mr. Hugh S. Pearce, an ex-Sydney resident, who for some years was engaged in New Zealand horso breeding, and has returned on a visit, states that New Zealanders have a considerable prejudice against Sydneyites, and declares that when he first arrived in the Dominion he presented Sydney testimonials, but found it was impossible to do business. This state of affairs existed for three months. He complains that Australian coins are not accepted in New Zealand. He does not intend to return to New Zealand.
