NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS.

For the New Zealand swimming championships the entries total 480 excluding the post-entry events. In© carnival will be held on the evening of the 16th. 18th, 20th and 23rd. Competitors will be entertained at a garden f eto on the 19th, a social on the 17th a smoke concert on the •21bt, a ladies' evening on the 21st, and a> cricket match on the 21st. The competitors include M &. n i on C Atkinson, Miss O'Leary (a.l Sers of championships). A- handicap river race for all comers is on the programme.
