. The man Sumner, who was arrested in connection with the murder of Miss Bradfield, asserts that a tall chap with a brown moustache threatened him with a marlinspike and revolver. The man then struck Miss Brndfield with the marlinspike several tiires, and snatched her satchell and watch. The later fell, and as he ran Sumner picked it up.
