More and more spurious sovereigns are com ing to hand in Christchurch (says the "Lytteltoh Times"), and the police. believe they have ;to/ investigate a very clever counterfeiting ease. .Thesovereigns have various dates, and a scrutiny of one or two of them shows plainly that they have beon cast, anil not struck with a die.
