DEPREDATIONS BY BRIGANDS. ABETTED BY THE PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT. Salonika, Sept 19. Albanian brigands are committing extensive depredations. Tho Provisional Government, instead of protecting the Christians, appointed notorious ox-brigands as chiefs of the public security and gendarmerie. The Catholic Malissori at Durazzo threaten to depose the Government and proclaim a democratic Government.
