THE IMPEACHED GOVERNOR.
A PERSONAL FRIEND ARRESTED. CONTEMPT OF COURT. New York, Sept 19. The New York State Assembly has ordered the arrest of Mr James Garrison, Mr Sulzer's personal friend, on the ground of contempt of court in refusing to answer questions propounded by the Speaker during the hearing of Mr Sulzer's impeachment.Mr Garrison has been removed to the penitentiary.
