MOTUEKA SUB-UNION.
At Motueka on Saturday Wanderers defeated Whakawera by 36 points to 6. A feature of the game was tlio fine passing of the Wanderers. Whakarewa forwards played very solidly, but the backs were weak. For the winners tries were scored by Cederman (2), Wright (2), -Hunter, Wilson and Duncan. For Whakarowa, 0. Batchclor and McCallum obtained tries, the latter scoring brilliantly just on the call of time. Huia forfeited to Tikaokao.
