THE WOOTTON CASE.

During Wootton's appeal that fuller particulars should be given of Sievier's statement of defence, Wootton's counsel menaioned that the substance of the libel consisted in Sievier accusing Woot ton and other trainers of conspiring to decide tho winning and losing races, that Wootton directed his son and other apprentices to pull horses not backed by Wootton, and that the latter also ran half-trained horses when he did not want them to win. ,
