At Addington there were largo entries of shoop of all classes, and fair yardings in other departments. There was an improvement in the prices of store shoop, but the yarding was smaller than the previous week. Quotations are: Evvos, 2 and 4 tooth (small) 12s lid, 2, 4, and 6 tooth 12s, 4, 6, and 8 tooth Us 6d 3 6 and 8 tooth 11s lOd to 15s, extra to 16s lOd, sound mouth (empty) lls Gd, full but sound mouth 13s 6d to 14s Cd, full and failing mouth lls to 12s 9d, aged sorts 8s lid; wethers, 4 tooth 14s 7d, 4 and 6 tooth ostra forvcard 17s Bd to 18s sd, 4 and 6 tooth good 165.6 dto 17s, two tooth 133 gd for small to 15s 3d for good, 2, 4, &nd 6 tooth halfbred, small 14s, Merinos 7s to 8a 6d; lambes, good rape sorts 13s to 15s, fair rape lambs 12a to 12s 6d, good stores lls to lls 9d, medium stores 9s 9d to 10s 6dj small sorts 9s, and wethers 9s 9d. Thore was again a largo entry of lambs, totalling 7843, the quality of which was not so good as those that have been coming forward during the season. Export imyers lowered their limits, as tuoy consider that of late they nave been paying too much for lamb, and the failing off in quality, which was to bo expected at this late season of the year, does not warrant the late high prices boing paid. Ther^ was consecruenliy a drop of Is to Is 6d per head as compared with last week, and some lots suowtd oven a further falling off in value.;. I'iie rate per lb was about o'id to o^d ; tegs made 19s to 22s 9d, average weights 15s to 18s Gd, and light and unfinished 12s 6d to 14s 9d.

There was a largo entry of fat sheep, totalling over 6000. 'i'^e rango of prices was: Extra prime wethers to 889, prime 20s to 26rf, others 17s to 19a 6d; extra prime owos to 275, prime 18s to 24s 6d, medium 10-s io 17s b"d, aged and light lls 6d to 14s oci; Merino wethers 16s lid to 17s Sd.

The yarding of fat cattle totalled 303 head. ' Tho demand for beef was irregular, varying greatly at different periods, but the aver; go price of beef showed no change from the previous sain, making 21s to 29s per lOOibs, according to quality. Steers realised £7 7,s 6d to £]!,' extra, to £14 s;s, heifers £6 to £10; and cows £5 15s to £10. The entry of stove cafctio was a small one. Yearlings mado SGs, 15 to IB month sorts £2 2s 6d to £3, 2 year heifers £3 10s to £3 17s -Jd, 3 year steers £6 10s to £7, 2 year heifers £5, and cows £1 7s'Cd to £4 17s Gd.

Dairy cows made £3 10:s to £11 10s. There was a medium entry of fat pigs, and the demand showed an improvement. Choppers realised £3 10s to £5 10s, heavy*A'-iX'oners 65s to 78s, and lighter 50s to bix, equal to s:}d per lb. Heavy porkers made 45s to 50s, and lighter 38s to 425, equal to 6d per lb.

Store pigs were .represented by » mixed entry. . Best sorts realised 35s to 445, medium 22^ to 345, and small pigs 19a to 21s. Weaners brought 6s 6d for small pigs to 13a for good sorts.
