The local branch of the Amalgamated i Workers' Union adopted a resolution j agreeing, to return to work on condi- j tion that all strikers were re-instated. The Administrator refused to re-instate thorn, and the union wired to the Minister. Since many of their positions have been filled, and all strikers not returning to work by a given time have been deemed to have resigned, much curiosity is felt rogarding the outcome of the situation. •
