The police effected, a smart ..eaptu.ro of burglars. A detective saw two men enter the promises of Brodribb, auctioneer, in George street, while a third roplacod the padlock and strolled away. Tho detective followed and arrested the" man, and telephoned for assistance. A strong force surrounded the building, and captured tho otfeer- two men, who were busy forcing a large safe.
