Tho Diaz factions here have united with the Orozco revolutionists in the northern States to persecute the revolt, against .President Madero.

Tho British and other Ambassadors called at tho National Palace at noon and conferred with President Madero with a view of securing an armistice.

The diplomatic corps also sent a representative to confer with General Diaz, whom he reached after running tho gauntlet of a severe riflo fire until Diaz was able to control the troops. Diaz Tefused an armistice. The Government forces combined in a fierce attack in the hope of dislodging the rebels. A rain of Bullets was maintained throughout tho day. Several Americans were amongst those killed in the streotß.

Automobiles under the white flag removed the women and children to tho embassies out of danger.
