InveroargHl, Fob. 13. KiUins; started ■at tho M ataura, Ocean Ikkicu, and Makarowa freezing works to-day, 16 men being employed at Mataura, a similar number of Makarewa, and 10 at Ocean Beach. These were all that were required by the companies in the meantime. Tile officials of the companies state that they, are satisfied with the initial start, and that the men engaged include expert slaughtermen, though not members of tho union.
