TWO SOUTHLAND DEATHS

Invercargill, Feb. 12

Stephen Hogan was killed by a fall of earth in a gravel pit at Drummond on Monday. A side clip occurred, burying Hogan, who was dead when extricated. Albert Edward Owens, a labourer in South Invercargill, was found dead on the beach at Oraki, near River/ton, today. He had loft..Colac : Bay, where he had spent the- previous .night, to walk to Riverton. The cause of death is at present unknown.
