L . Wellington, Feb. 11. "A demonstration of supporters of the Bible, in State Schools League was held in the Town Hall to-night. There was a crowded audience, over which Mr. J. G. W. Bible-in-State'Scholos League), the Rev.'-'Canon Garland (organising secretary of the Bible-in-State School© League)-, Commissioner Richards (Salvation Army), and Messrs! Gilbert Carson (Baptist Church, Wanganui) and W. D. Little (Church of Christ). The meeting was an enthusiastic one. The .collection' in aid of the league's funds realised" £45.
