MYSTERIOUS WESTPORT FIRE.
Westport, Fob. I]. A" four-roomed unoccupied and uninsured houso, owned by S. -Anderson, near the Orawaiti bridge, on "the outskirts of the town, was burnt down last flight. An hour previously an unidrentifi'ed man was soon in the house with a lighted candle. Early yesterday morning a cowshed in the vicinity was mysteriously burnt. Previously some heaps of light wood which had'been ignited were' found under a cottage in the game locality.
