The "Labour Party has adopted tho following fighting platform :-—Abolition of the Legislative Council; abolition of the office of State. Governor; full citizen rights {to- women '• effective land settle-; ntentj ihcTitding cessation of" Crown land salea|.'and taxation of land values j natipiialis^iion;' of ■ health matters, in- : eluding;; free medical, surgical, .andlr nursing services, ,with State maintenance of, /hospitalsi; special care of maternity, and the protection of childl :life;- equitable industrial laws; complete free educational facilities; establishment of State ironworks ; local .government reform, embracing full adult suffrage.
