Mr. Vanniekeri gave notice in the Union Parliament of a question as to whetiier Sir" Richard Solomon's remarks oh board H.M.S. New Zealand were made with the Premier's knowledge.
Speaking on H.M.S. New Zealand on the occasion of the inspection of the ship by.j: representatives of the Domimflns, Sir Richard Solomon, High Commissioner for South Africa," congratulated New Zealand on its practical loyalty, and said the visit of the vessel to Table Bay would help the South Africans' ■grovving' feeling towards co-operation.
