Extract from London ■:■■ ''Medical Magazine" for May, 1910:—"These ferments obtained from the papaw, are made up. in the form of. an ointment and gargle, and are recommended as an application to enlarged glandular tissues, tumoursj and ulcerations. The present preparation seems to combine the most active ferments of the plant ma successful -manner. Its activity

> as demonstrated by -<*veral - cases ,oi hypertrophy of the turbi?cl bodies, and in cases of enlarged tonsils. After three or four weeks' application there was eery, very marked improvement. There can be no doubt that the preparation is unusually effective, and should provel, very ' serviceable, obviating the necessity for operative procedures in many cases. Such operative procedures are often adopted much too hastily. The present ferments are well deserving" of a trial, and in many cases we have no doubt tho result will be" satisfactory." Papaw Ointment, Is 6d (for ulcers, tumours, goitre, and poisoned wounds); Papaw Papayate, 2s 6d (for nasal catarrh); Papaw Tonic, 2s 6d; Papaw Pile Cure, 2s 6d. Wbo^esol©: J. H. Cock and Co., Ltd.
