POSITION AT WANGANUI.

Wanganui, Feb. 9. The Wanganui Freezing Company has received a. good . response from free labourers, :and will resume on Monday with at least 25-men, including some tx,port /butcyiers. ; . Those having homes hero intend to-seek other employment. Inquiries among local watersiders show that they have- little sympathy with the «trik"e, which they consider unnecessary and unjustifiable. They declare that there will bo no refusal to handle the meat co far as the Wanganui watereiders are concerned.
