ROCKET CAMERA IN THE AIR.

The German military authorities ' have adopted « novel aerial camera for use in time of war which is lirojected into the air by a rocket. A shell-iike hood attached to tho rocket contains a camera, a parachute, and a gyroecopo. Tho rocket is discharged and, when 2600 ft. high, tho parachute, with the camera attached, is automatically released and tho photographic plate exposed. - The parachute and camera then fall gc-ritly to the earth. With the camera photographs of the surrounding countiy can bo taken.
