Also started: Jason, Tinopai, Night Watch. Auckland Hurdle Race: Lloyds 1, Golden Loop 2, Waterworks 3. Also started: Kokoran, Don Quex J Seaman, Tui Cakabau, Reservoir, Hyperion, Miss Ada.
