OUTBREAK AT TE KUITI.

Te KuStf, Jan. 2. A fire occurred at Te Kuiti at midnight,; ancV,destroyed a block at the corner of Kora and King streets. The outbreak started in Mrs. Robertson's refreshment rooms, which were destroyed, as were also C. Erickson's paint shop and office, and Walker's boot shop. The brigade did good work, and saved the fire from spreading to Cheal's surveyor's office and other shops. The buildings were owned by Mr. Erickson, who is absent. The insurances are unknown. A similar outbreak occurred in the eamo buildings about two months ago.
