SPRING FLOWER SHOW.
The annual sale- of work and spring flower show in connection with the Holy Trinity Church was opened in the Oddfellows' Hall, Richmond, yesterday' afternoon by the Mayor of Richmond (Mr. J. Hunt), who congratulated the exhibitors on the fine display of flowers, fruit and vegetables staged, and tho committee on the success of their, efforts.
The show this year is an improvement on last year's, exhibition, and there was a fL.no display of roses, and, the sweet peas, although early in the season, were excellent. There wa.s also a capital exhibition of vegetables. The stall-holders wore- as follows:— Work stall: Mesdame^ Thomas and Molesworth and Miss Talbot.
Sweet stall: Misses Hunt, Hammond, and Dvson.
Tea Rooms : Mesdames Cook©", Harold Button, and Misses Cross and Chailies. Following is the- prize list:—
