THE BULGARIAN OPERATIONS.

ARMY RESTING AT CHORLU

ADVANCE ON CHATALDJA

Sofia, Nov 5

A large force has occupied Derkos and cut off the aqueduct upon which tho capital is dependent for a water supply.

The Bulgarian troops have occupied the region between Chorlu and Chataldja, completely surrounding tho Turkish force.

The lull in the operations at Chorlu is due to the Bulgarian army being given two days' repose after four days and nights of fighting.

Tho period expires to-day, when the advance on Chataldja will bo resumed. Reinforcements from Adrianople will later be replaced by Servians.

Tho second Bulgarian army under General Kutinjeff, is marching by the coast along the Sea of Marmora, to effect a junction with General Dimitrieff at Chataldja.
