Tho National Union of Suffrage Societies held a demonstration at the Albert Hall.
A letter was read from Lord Hal-d-ano, in which ho expressed the,conviction that nothing could keep back the canso of womanhood suffrage. Recent evenvsjjwero irrevelant to the merits of tho '. mtroversy. He hoped the House of C ■■mmons underrated the folly of a few ;' -natics.

Si.itragettes made a window wrecking raid in Oxford and Bond streets. Two of the offenders were arrested.
As a protest against tho defeat of Mt Snowdeii's women's suffrago amendment to the Homo Rule Bill, suffragettes smashed tho windows of tho Insurance Commissioners' office. Numerous arrests wero made.
