The New Zealand Fruit and Produce Company report on the Wellington fruit and produce market as follows:—Thero is a steady market for both fruit and vegetables, with an upward tendency for best dessert apples. The supply ot pears is small, and prices have risen, so that to the .fortunate possessors good returns are the result. Walnuts are still very scarce. The following are the current prices for apples: Cooking, Wolsloys and Washingtons make 5s 9d to 6s 6d, Epp's Seedlings 4s to 4s 6d; dessert, Stunners 6s to 6s 9d, Jonathans 6s to Bs, Winter Majentin 4s 6d to 5s ; Ohinemuri 5s to 5s 6d, Stone Pippins 6s to 6s 9d per dump case. Dessert pears tiro scarce, and supplies coming .forward realise high prices. Winter Coles and Nelis realise 6s to 8s 6d per ha>i c-iise, faster Jieurro 6s 6d to Bs, Vicars 6s to 7s 9d per dump case. Walnuts are in good request at 6sd to 7d per lb. Cauliflowers make 8s to 9s 6d per sack, and celery 4a to 7s per dozen.
