SOME BIG PENSIONS.
The late Undcr-Secrotary of Lands, Mr. William C. Kensington, has retired on a pension of £566 per annum. Other_ pensions granted recently tinde-i----the Civil Service Act were'those of Mr. J. L. Bush, £246, and Mr. B. N. Martin, £316. Both'were formerly .in the* Post Office. Department.
