THEATRE ROYAL PERMANENT PICTURES.
In spite of the wet wither last evening a .good audience assembled at tho Theatre Royal to witness the current programme, and tho various pictures were received with hearty applause. ''Drummed Out," a.military, drama by the Berlin Company, is the star subject but it is not of outstanding merit compared with other fi!ms, because the whole collection is excellent. "Tho Rubber Industry" is a magnificently coloured subject by the Pathe Frer.es Company, and is particularly interesting. "Auckland in Pictures," is also a film of interest to New Zealanders, and shows some of the principal places in and about the Queen city of the north. The other films are also of high quality, and picture lovers are reminded that tonight will be the last opportunity of witnessing this fine programme, as there will be a complete change to-mor-row afternoon and "evening..
