RELEASE OF HUNGER STRIKERS

When Queen Alexandra's jubilee procession reached the Stock Exchange, Ellen Craig, a well dressed Londoner, broke througfc the cordon of police, and sprang on Mr McKenna, the Minister-in-attendance, and also,, appealed to Queen Alexandra on behalf of the- suffragettes. She was arrested after a fierce struggle with detectives.
