WAKATU CRIBBAGE ASSOCIATION.

Tho annual meeting of this Association wns held last evening when Mr. R. W. Stiles, the president, presided. Every team was re-presented, and a team was entered on behalf of the 12th Regiment band. The secretary, Mr. Bray, submitted tho annual report and balance .shoot, which wore adopted. The latter showed a credit balance of £4 16s 6d.

Tho election of officers resulted as fellows: President, Mr. R. W 7. Stiles (re-elected) ; vice-president, Mr. A. £?ns©mann ; hon secretary and treasurer, Messrs W. Bray and F. Guy (rejlooted); match recorder: Mr. W. Bra.y (re-elected); executive committee: Old Navals <G. Dayman), Carponters (JBurcli), Union (W 7. 11. Davenport), Drivers (M. Batchelor), Port CB- Earle) Druids (W. Bray), 12th Regiment band (A. V. King), Nelson Rifles (A. G. Stewart).

It was resolved to play all matches at Walker's room, which has been enlarged. It was resolved that the individual members of the team winning the championship be awarded a trophy to the valuo of 7s 6d.

It was decided that for individual trophies, if tho trophies are given for tho first round only, a player count six out of seven games; and if given for both rounds he count tho best eleven •games opt of fourteen. Trophies were offered as follows: Messrs. Stiles, L. J. Kerr and Patterson (gold medal). The executive- was directed to take into consideration tho providing of a trophy to the- best team in the second round.

Votes of thanks were passed to Messrs Bray and Guy for the services •ror.derod by them durfng last season. J'he president also received a similar compliment. It was resolved that the executive take into consideration tha playing of a representative match against the Motueka or some other outside Association.

Supper was fixed for the end of the games each evening, instead of at halftime.

A vote of thanks to the chairman terminated the meeting.
