Speaking in the House of Commons Mr Austen Chamberlain (U.) denied that the Bill would remedy congestion in tho House of Commons, which would to continually thresh questions settled in Dublin, with added complication. Such action would mean a reversal of tho decision for a semi-independent Parliament. The military danger was profound and the financial danger great.

Replying to Sir Rufus Isaacs, Mr Chamberlain said ho was not prepared t< advise others to run into a danger, he. in England, did not share, but if Ulste? resisted English opinion would not al low Ulster to be flooded with dragoons.
