The Rev Mr Morgan was elected Moderator of the General Assembly. In his

inaugural address, referring to.union of tho churches, he asked, "Is it to be a. corporate union or not?" On such questions they had no clear vision, and must seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Union did not necessarily mean the welding of existing denominations imbued with the samo spirit. Tho aim was to establish a mutual understanding, and there was a most efficient union alroady made.
