The Hon A. Griffith, comparing the Government contractors' tenders for articles of daily diet with those of January, 1909 to 1912, shows that there is a material decrease in prices. Heis convinced that the immense increase asked from the public Is simply the excessive profits for retailers.
It has been decided to complete the Central Railway Station at a cost of £165,000.
