BUTLER WEDS AN HEIRESS.

On Fob 9th, the "London Morning Poßt contained tho following short fashionable announcement: —"A marriage has taken place very quitely between Mr. Stephen-Fox and Misg Maud Ward-Fox."

Only this week has the fact been known that this notice covered a romantic wedding three years ago, between a butler and a rich daughter of tho house, recalling in many features "The Admiral Orichton" of Mr. J. M. Barrio.

Mrs. Ward-Fox was the widow of the lat© Colonel Edward Ward-Fox, of Haddon House, Bakewcill, Derbyshire, and both mother. and daughter wero well known,-.r?n<l tvmuJar in the county.
