Wellington, May 6. The following is the-R«r D. C. Bates', weather forecast and summary from 5 j p.m. to-day • — ' A small area of low pressure has passed in the south, with strong westerly and southerly winds and unsettled weather conditions. It has been fair to cloudy in the- north with showers in parts. The barometer is abovo normal ■■«?verywhoro, rising slowly in the south. ;-and falling in the north.
